OK, Real Quick, RTT

I am kinda pressed for time this AM. Lots to get done today. So this is going to have to be a quick RTT. But I do so love me some RTT, I just couldn't skip another week.

To get in on the action go visit Keely over at The Un Mom. She is awesome in her zombie paranoia.

I hate laundry. I don't hate washing it. It's just the folding it, and I loath putting it away. It's on my do to list for today.

We lost a big ass branch in a nasty storm last week. And when I say 'big ass' I mean at least 20 feet long. Fell right out of that tree next to the house and landed on the fence. I am not at all upset... I am thrilled it didn't hit the house.

For those of you who are not regulars here... I created a new award this week. It's for people who are new bloggers who we think are funny or interesting.

Photobucket

Feel free to give it out if you like. The code for the image is on my sidebar.

I had to pay a $186 ticket yesterday. Which sucks when I think about how much fabric I could have purchased with that money. Oh well, life goes on.

Again, for those of you who aren't regulars here, I am in the middle of a 100 followers campaign. I am well on my way, and when I reach my goal I will be hosting a big giveaway party. You can get the details here.

OK, I really must run. Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. Laundry....... I feel for you...... Personally, I think it should be trained to do it itself..... ( we have vacuums that "Run" themselves..... Hello, Santa?????, cars that start themselves... ( kinda) keys that can be found with a hand clap, and lights that can controlled with a hand clap..... To the Gods Of Invention... Find something for the laundry....

  2. I have loads of clean laundry just sitting around because I can't be bothered folding or putting it away. And when I do fold it, the toddler throws it everywhere anyway. So we just dress out of the basket.

  3. I'm with you on the laundry. I usually wear what's been left in the dryer and then do another load, just continuing to drss out of the dryer. And good luck with the 100 followers!

  4. Laundry. I thought it was bad before my kid arrived. Now it's awful. He drools and spits up and spills his milk and food so much that there's no way I can make him wear his clothes more than once!

    Good luck with the 100!

  5. Don't talk about laundry. I have a tendency of letting it gather by the side of the bed. Then when I actually get round to it I often forget it's in the machine to which my wife or step-daughter decide to empty it somewhere in the laundry room and not tell me. "So there's where my shirt went to"…

  8. I'm with Julie. I might just have to put that someplace just to view every now and then. However, I might not get any work done. *sigh*

I hate laundry too. Right now, their is clean laundry at the foot of our bed, over the railing and on the laundry room floor. Everyday is a hunt for underwear, socks & a skirt that matches a shirt. Writing that down makes it sound very unproductive, I guess I'll try to do something about that.

  9. I second the Laundry I am strange I love the washing and the drying but tanking the clothes out of the dryer and folding and then putting away kills me. I wish that the laundry fairy existed!

  10. It's my first time visiting your blog and I'm feeling like staying ;) You really had me at the whole hate-laundry as I had to do it today as well. I considered it my good deed for the day and rewarded myself with a piece of cake. I felt much better afterwards (there aren't any specifications on good deeds, okay! Don't judge).

Looking forward to you having some more time which, I'm sure, will equal more reading pleasure ;)

  13. I love your award!!! Shiny and sparkly. I have not seen one like that!!

I never fold laundry alone. My hubby and I always fluff and fold together.

  14. I share your pain the laundry process. I usually live out of the basket until it empties again. I'm lazy like that.
